Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival at the Airport
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, your private driver-guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to your accommodation. Settle into your comfortable lodging and enjoy a delicious dinner, providing a perfect start to your Tanzanian adventure. Take this time to relax and prepare for the exciting safari that awaits you tomorrow.

- Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, we will depart for Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, the park becomes a crucial water source for wildlife during the dry season. As we journey through the park, you’ll witness its diverse landscapes, from elephant grass and acacia woodlands to lush groundwater forests.
Tarangire is renowned for its large herds of elephants, often seen gathering near the river. Keep an eye out for giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, as well as numerous predators like lions and leopards who roam these lands. The park also boasts the highest concentration of breeding bird species in the world, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts.
After a delightful picnic lunch and an extensive game drive, we will proceed to our partner lodge near Tarangire for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, we will depart early for Lake Manyara National Park, a pristine haven renowned for its diverse birdlife and unique tree-climbing lions. The park is framed by the dramatic western escarpment of the Rift Valley and features the alkaline, shallow Lake Manyara to the east. This lake expands and contracts with the seasons, attracting thousands of flamingos during the rainy season.
The name “Manyara” derives from the Maasai word “Emanyara,” a plant used to construct protective enclosures around family homesteads. The park’s varied vegetation ranges from savannah to evergreen forests, offering a rich habitat for wildlife. As we explore, you may encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and, with some luck, lions resting in the trees.
After an extensive game drive and a delightful lunch, we will proceed to a well-appointed lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will set out early for the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural wonder often described as a lost world. Formed two to three million years ago by a volcanic eruption, the crater is now home to some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa, including large lion prides and members of the Big Five.
As we descend into the crater, you’ll be surrounded by vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 species of birds. The descent into the crater itself is an adventure, offering stunning views and the chance to spot various mammalian faunas in the open grasslands.
After an enriching half-day exploring the crater, you will proceed to Serengeti National Park, while enjoying a packed lunch en route. In the evening, you will arrive at the camp, where you can unwind with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

- Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Begin your day with an early breakfast before leaving for a thrilling game drive in the heart of Serengeti. Known for its stunning natural beauty and scientific significance, Serengeti is the world’s most famous wildlife sanctuary and boasts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa.
The park is renowned for the Great Wildebeest Migration, an awe-inspiring event where over a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras migrate across the plains. This incredible journey occurs annually, with the herds moving from the northern hills to the southern plains during the short rains in October and November, and then shifting west and north following the long rains in April, May, and June. The migration is a powerful testament to the ancient instinct to move, undeterred by drought, gorges, or crocodile-infested rivers.
Spend the day in search of the Serengeti’s famous big cats and other wildlife, experiencing the park’s unmatched diversity. In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

- Day 6-8: Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar (Nungwi)
After breakfast, you will head to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ), with a stopover in Stone Town. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the northern coast of Zanzibar, to the enchanting village of Nungwi. Known for its stunning white coral sand that seems to glow even at night, Nungwi offers a perfect blend of activity and tranquility.
Despite its popularity, Nungwi retains an isolated charm. Its broad coastline, featuring some of Africa’s most pristine, reef-rich waters, is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Unlike many other beaches in Zanzibar, Nungwi does not experience extreme tidal fluctuations, making it ideal for water activities throughout the day.
While there are numerous activities to enjoy—such as walking tours, sunset cruises, diving trips, and parasailing—sometimes the simple pleasure of watching traditional dhow boats sail at sunset is enough to fall in love with Zanzibar – African paradisiac island.
You will spend three unforgettable nights at this remarkable destination, enjoying the beauty and serenity of Zanzibar at leisure.

- Day 9: Departure Day
After a leisurely breakfast and some time to relax at your hotel in Zanzibar, you will be transferred directly to the airport for your departure. If your flight is scheduled for later in the day, we will arrange for you to enjoy lunch before your transfer. Reflect on the incredible journey you’ve experienced, filled with unforgettable moments and breathtaking sights. Safe travels as you head home or to your next destination.
