- Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly representative from Acacia Bliss Tours & Safaris will be there to greet you. You will be comfortably transferred to your luxurious lodge in Arusha, where you can relax and recover from your journey. Your guide will be available to provide a detailed briefing on the exciting itinerary ahead, ensuring you are well-prepared for the adventures to come.
Enjoy the serene surroundings and perhaps take a leisurely walk in the beautiful gardens or a refreshing dip in the pool. This evening, savor a delightful dinner featuring local and international cuisine, a perfect way to start your Tanzanian adventure.

- Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After a refreshing breakfast at the hotel, we’ll set off to explore the wonders of Tarangire National Park, a gem known for its unique landscapes and rich wildlife. The park is famous for its giant baobab trees, their striking silhouettes creating an enchanting African fairytale backdrop. As you journey through the park, you’ll encounter large herds of elephants, often seen roaming in family groups. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of lions, cheetahs, and leopards, along with an array of other wildlife including zebras, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, and wildebeest.
During the day, enjoy a delightful picnic lunch amidst the scenic beauty of the park, providing a perfect break as you soak in the surroundings. In the evening, we’ll take you on another thrilling game drive, enhancing your chance to spot more wildlife. After a day of adventure, you’ll arrive at a well-appointed lodge where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner, recounting the day’s experiences before retiring for a restful night.

Day 3: Discover the Northern Serengeti

Today, after an early morning breakfast, we’ll journey into the heart of the Serengeti, where vast open plains dotted with iconic acacia trees stretch as far as the eye can see. This is the Serengeti of dreams, a place where wildlife abounds. The Central Serengeti is renowned for its high concentrations of animals, making it the perfect spot to witness the incredible diversity and sheer numbers of wildlife that call this park home.
As you explore, you’ll experience thrilling game drives that bring you up close to lions, elephants, leopards, and countless other species. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the awe-inspiring landscape. In the evening, as the sun sets over the Serengeti, you’ll arrive at your comfortable lodge, where a hearty dinner and a peaceful night’s rest await, ensuring you are refreshed for the adventures to come.

- Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning breakfast, we’ll set off for Ngorongoro Crater, where a final game drive through the Serengeti will bring new wildlife sightings en route. Descending into the crater is a unique safari experience, revealing a hidden world teeming with life. Here, you can observe the Big Five in one of the most concentrated and accessible settings in Africa. The crater’s ecosystem is home to an array of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino and over 50 lion territories. You’ll also encounter hyenas, elephants with impressively large tusks, and numerous other species. The absence of giraffes is notable, as they cannot negotiate the crater walls and there are no acacia trees on the crater floor. Don’t miss the chance to marvel at the alkaline Magadi Lake, a haven for flamingos and other waterfowl.
Enjoy a picnic lunch from the comfort of your vehicle, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the crater floor. As you explore, watch for hippos in the hidden streams and marvel at the crater’s high, wooded walls rising through the morning mist. In the late afternoon, you’ll ascend the crater walls and arrive at your lodge for dinner and restful night.

- Day 7: Lake Manyara to Arusha
Begin your final day with an early morning wake-up and savor a delicious breakfast at your lodge. Afterward, we will head to the picturesque Lake Manyara National Park, where the Rift Valley escarpment meets the northern Tanzanian plains. This park, known for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife, offers a unique safari experience. Highlights of your day may include sightings of the famous tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephants, and a substantial population of baboons.
Enjoy an afternoon picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s natural beauty, with opportunities to observe the abundant birdlife and perhaps even witness a predator ambushing its prey. Lake Manyara may lack the raw drama of the Serengeti, but its serene environment and unique features make it a special place to conclude your safari. In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha or transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your homeward flight or onward journey.
